A named person answers for every article on this site. This page says who, and what the publication will not do.

Who is responsible

Jimmy Jonevret is the editor of The Crown Journal and is accountable for every published article, whatever tools or hands produced the draft. If something is wrong, a person answers for it: seecorrections.

What we never do

• We do not invent facts, measurements, prices or quotes.
• We do not claim first-hand experience of a watch we have not handled.
• We do not present generated or altered imagery as a photograph of a real watch.
• We do not publish under the name of a person who does not exist.

How the work is produced

Articles are drafted from source material we gather (press releases, brand documentation, our own photographs and observations) with the help of research and editing software, and every article passes human editorial review before it is published. The editorial standards describe the checks the site itself enforces.
