Corrections
We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we fix it in the open rather than quietly.
How we correct
- A factual error is corrected in the article and noted on it, with the date.
- The original claim is described, not deleted, so the record stays readable.
- A corrected article is marked as corrected; it does not silently change.

Published corrections
- The Daytona that went to the glacier
- : The archived project page of 26 May 2022 displayed 62,260.00 CHF as the price of the personalization service, no tax basis stated; the article now records that dated figure and no longer claims a universal absence. (originally: The article said no price was published for this commission and that none had surfaced in press coverage.)
- : Both are now attributed to Artisans de Genève's own account, as the article's attribution contract requires. (originally: The calibre finishing and the X rotor were stated as independent facts.)
- The Aquanaut that was taken apart on purpose
- : The figure is now attributed to Hypebeast's August 2024 report, which gave it as approximate, with the tax basis noted as unknown. (originally: The CHF 58,520 figure was presented as a press-reported cost without naming the source or its date.)
- : The caption now says the commission began with the owner's existing 5167A: an owner-supplied donor watch does not prove every photographed component is the untouched original part. (originally: The hero caption said the case was the one the owner already had.)
- : They are now placed under the workshop's own description, which governs the passage. (originally: The technical modifications were stated as independent facts.)
- : They now describe the frame itself: an olive-green openworked plate, with the rotor, wheels, hands and polished bezel reading gold. (originally: The on-wrist alt and caption treated the visible movement as green behind yellow-gold-treated hands.)
- Ulysse Nardin Diver [AIR]: the sub-52-gram dive watch
- : The held specification gives a titanium caseback with an open mineral-glass window; the front crystal is sapphire. The inaccurate sapphire-caseback wording has been removed from the image text. (originally: The caseback was described as sapphire in the caseback image text.)
- : The price label now distinguishes CHF, EUR and GBP as including VAT and USD as excluding it; the source data retains the release's local rates. (originally: The launch prices carried a generic note that local VAT applied where applicable.)
- : The year now renders as 2025 through a canonical helper, with a build gate against weekday fragments. (originally: The weight lineage rendered the launch year as a weekday fragment because an unquoted date was string-sliced.)
- : The wording was the journal's own synthesis; the release-supported paraphrase now reads 'reducing mass without compromising performance', without quotation marks. (originally: The article set the phrase 'lose mass without losing strength' in quotation marks as if the release said it.)
- : One reference ships with two interchangeable straps; the text now says so. (originally: The duo image text called the orange-strap and white-strap watches 'versions'.)
- : The held source establishes a 1 April 2025 embargo, not a commercial release date; the wording now says so. (originally: The article said the watch was released on 1 April.)
