Diver [AIR]

The release presents the Diver [AIR] as the lightest mechanical dive watch ever made, at under 52 g on the strap, and places it against the brand's own recent Divers rather than against the category: the Diver 44 of 2019 weighed 120.5 g and the Diver X Skeleton of 2021 weighed 105.8 g. It frames the watch as the work of the UN Centre for Innovation, and gives its reason to attempt it as a line from Paul-David Nardin in 1876: "If it's possible, it's done. If it's impossible, it will be done." The weight comes from materials the release names by source: a middle case in 90% recycled titanium, side parts in Nylo-Foil made of recycled fishing net and upcycled carbon fibre, and a bezel in CarbonFoil recovered from IMOCA racing boats.
