Daniel Roth mastered complications at Audemars Piguet and Breguet before founding his own brand, then independent, in 1988.
The double-ellipse case was drawn to give the tourbillon a technical and aesthetic lead role.
Revived in 2023 with the support of La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton; the revival began with a Tourbillon Souscription series carrying the in-house DR001.
